Customer Service & Vendor Relations Representative

DESCRIPTION:

As our Customer Service & Vendor Relations Representative, you’re at the heart of our companies business activities as well as the key employee that allows the other team members to concentrate on their project objectives and sales quotas. In this position you will move quickly with the changing environment and stay up to date with our product offerings. In addition to being organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, you possess the strong business judgment and conflict resolution skills needed to service our customers, product suppliers and outside vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the first line of defense for inbound calls, emails and faxes, then distribute effectively.
  • Process customer payments and handle any post-sale questions.
  • Submit orders to suppliers and verify accuracy of all order confirmations and invoices.
  • Send tracking information to the customer and answer any delivery questions.
  • Process damage claims and submit all pertinent information to our suppliers.
  • Ability to multi-task and balance immediate customer and vendor needs with long-term
    assigned responsibilities.
  • Perform tasks efficiently and consistently while being very detail-oriented.
  • Offer creative solutions to complex customer and vendor needs/issues as they arise.
  • Maintain a positive, can-do attitude when faced with adversity.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but will consider equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years of customer service experience minimum.
  • Conflict-resolution experience required.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong organization/prioritization skills.
  • Creative and independent thinker.
  • Problem Solver.
  • Energetic with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Self-starter, self-motivator that can work independently.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is performed in an office setting.
  • Casual attire.
