Our Free Iron and Aluminum Fence Install Kit<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

With a vast majority of our customers being DIY-ers (do-it-youselfers), we get this question quote often.\u00a0 To start, we offer something no other manufacturer does: a free installation kit.\u00a0 The kit is fairly comprehensive and is meant to save you some cost and those annoying back-and-forth trips to the hardware store.\u00a0 The kit varies based on what you are ordering, but for a full iron fence\/ gate\/ driveway gate order, you would receive:<\/p>\n

FOR PANELS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • 3\/8″ Hex Driver (to fasten brackets w\/ screws)<\/li>\n
  • Hex Driver Extension (to assist w\/ angle)<\/li>\n
  • 12oz. Touch-up Paint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    FOR POSTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Outdoor Construction Adhesive (to fasten caps to posts)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      FOR WALK GATES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • 3\/8″ Drill Bit (to drill posts for female portion of hinge)<\/li>\n
      • 5\/8″ Drill Bit (to drill gate frame for male portion of hinge)<\/li>\n
      • 1\/4″ Hex Driver (to fasten gravity latch to gate)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        FOR ESTATE GATES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        • *3\/8″ Drill Bit (to drill posts for female portion of hinge)<\/li>\n
        • *3\/4″ Drill Bit (to drill gate frame for male portion of hinge)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          That full kit would cost you over $125 shopping for it at one of the big box stores.\u00a0 We also have an install kit for our aluminum fence and gates as well that is equally comprehensive.<\/p>\n

          So we get you started off pretty well.\u00a0 A list of other potential tools you will need could include:<\/p>\n

          • String Line along with stakes (wood or steel rebar) to fix the string to<\/li>\n
          • Shovel and Post Hole Digger for post holes.\u00a0 You can also rent a motorized post hole digger\/ auger for faster post hole digging.<\/li>\n
          • Tub, wheelbarrow or powered mixer for cement<\/li>\n
          • Measuring Tape<\/li>\n
          • Level<\/li>\n
          • Rubber Mallet and Regular Hammer<\/li>\n
          • Hacksaw or Sawzall for trimming panels (if necessary)<\/li>\n
          • Drill or power driver<\/li>\n
          • Wrench and socket set<\/li>\n
          • Square or Angle Finder<\/li>\n
          • Bags of concrete mix<\/li>\n
          • Water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            And that’s it folks.\u00a0 The closest thing to something ‘specialized’ is a motor driven post hole digger.\u00a0 They are not necessary, but are rented all over the place at very reasonable prices and your back will thank you if it is a big project.<\/p>\n
